Reale and Associates provides expert playground inspections and audits

Playground Inspections and Audits:  Are Your Children Safe?

For a child a playground is a place to develop and challenge social, physical and cognitive skills.  A place of adventure and an avenue to explore their curiosity, a place without care or concern.

What playgrounds should not be for children is a place of unknown, hidden, unexpected and dangerous HAZARDS.  Children cannot be expected to be aware nor differentiate between a challenge/risk and a hazard.

Playground equipment like our cars, our homes, and our roads and bridges need scheduled inspections, maintenance, and routine repairs in order to keep them functioning as originally intended, and in the best and safest interest of the children.

A complete inventory and inspection of every component on your playground per the most recent Consumer Product Safety Commission Guidelines, CPSC 2010, the American Standard for Testing and Materials, ASTM F1487-11 and the Dept. of Justice 2010 ADA Standard for Accessibility of Playgrounds. A full and comprehensive report with accompanying photos is provided.

Reports, including photographs, which will identify and classify hazards, as well as make recommendations to the client on how to bring the site into compliance and advise on needed repairs. The reports can be annual, bi-annual or can be designed to fit your needs and comes with accompanying photos. Reale will assist in determining if warranties apply and will advise the client accordingly.
